RBI determines bank holidays according to different states. Banks will be closed for a total of 15 days (RBI Bank Holidays List) in August. August 8, 2021: There will be a bank holiday as it is a Sunday.
August 13, 2021: Banks in Imphal will be closed on this day due to Patriot’s Day.
August 14, 2021: The bank will be closed as it is the second Saturday of the week.
August 15, 2021: As this day is a Sunday, there will be a bank holiday.
August 16, 2021: This day will be a bank holiday in Belapur, Mumbai, and Nagpur zones of Maharashtra as it is the New Year of Parsis.
August 19, 2021: Agartala Zone, Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bhopal, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur due to Moharram on this day. The bank will remain closed in New Delhi, Raipur, Patna, Srinagar, and Ranchi zones.
August 20, 2021: Banks in Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi, and Kerala will be closed on this day as Moharram and the first Onam.
August 21, 2021: Banks in Kochi and Kerala zones will be closed on this day due to Thiruvananthapuram.
August 22, 2021: The bank will be closed on this day due to Sunday and Rakshabandhan.
August 23, 2021: This day will be a bank holiday in Kochi and Kerala as it is Shri Narayan Guru Jayanti.
August 28, 2021: This day will be a bank holiday as it is the fourth Saturday.
August 29, 2021: This day will be a bank holiday as it is a Sunday.
August 30, 2021: Banks will be closed in Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Gangtok, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Lucknow, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Shimla and Srinagar zones due to Janmashtami on this day.
August 31, 2021: As Shri Krishna is Ashtami, there will be a bank holiday in Hyderabad.

There will be a five-day-long weekend

21 ઓગસ્ટ, 2021: આ દિવસે થિરુવોણમ હોવાના કારણે કોચી અને કેરળ ઝોનની બેંક બંધ રહેશે.
22 ઓગસ્ટ, 2021: આ દિવસે રવિવાર અને રક્ષાબંધન હોવાના કારણે બેંક બંધ રહેશે.
23 ઓગસ્ટ , 2021: આ દિવસે શ્રી નારાયણ ગુરુ જયંતી હોવાના કારણે કોચ્ચી અને કેરળની બેંકમાં રજા રહેશે.
28 ઓગસ્ટ, 2021: આ દિવસે ચોથો શનિવાર હોવાના કારણે બેંકમાં રજા રહેશે.

પાંચ દિવસનું લોન્ગ વિકેન્ડ મળશે
ઓગસ્ટ મહિનામાં પાંચ દિવસ લાબું વિકેન્ડ મળશે. આ રજાઓ 19 થી 23 ઓગસ્ટની વચ્ચે છે. આ સ્થિતિમાં આ રજાઓ એક સાથે જે ઝોનમાં આવી રહી છે ત્યાં કામનું એડવાન્સ પ્લાનિંગ જરૂરી બને છે.
