Gujarat Education Board has announced the schedule of Std. 10 and Std. 12 examinations.
The Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has announced the schedule of Std-10 and Std-12 board examinations to be held this year. This year the board exam will be held in the month of May. Std-10 and 12 board exams will start on May 10. The exam will run until May 25.
The first paper of SSC will be Gujarati and the first paper in Std. 12 Science will be Physics.

Standard 10 and 12 schools have started from January 11. Today, the Gujarat Board has announced the schedule of Std. 10 and Std. 12 examinations. The standard 10 and 12 examinations are starting from May 10. These examinations will continue till May 25. The standard 12 examination time will be from 3 pm to 6.30 pm. While the standard 10 examinations will be from 10 am to 3:15 pm.

30 percent reduction in curriculum
Earlier, a 30 percent cut in the curriculum was made in the interest of students due to the Corona epidemic. As a result, students are now focusing on 70 percent of the curriculum. Objective questions in Std-9 and Std-11 and Std-12 general stream question papers with Std-9 to 10 are 30% instead of 20%. In the academic year 2020-21, the curriculum for Std-9 to 12 has been reduced by 30%.

While in Std-9,10,11 and 12 general streams the proportion of objective questions in question papers has been increased from 20% to 30%. The question paper of the Std-12 Science stream has 50% multiple-choice questions and 50% descriptive questions. In the question paper of standard 9 to 12, in the descriptive questions, a general option is given instead of the internal option.
50% MCQ in standard-12 science question papers unchanged
While in Std-12 Science, the proportion of 50 percent MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) and 50 percent descriptive type questions in the question papers have been maintained as before. In Std-9 to Std-12 question papers in descriptive type questions will be given general option instead of an internal option.
Pursuant to this change, the Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has prepared question papers of 40 main subjects of Std-10 and 12 in the form of, merit, and sample question papers which have been sent to all the Secondary-Higher Secondary Schools through all the District Education Officers.
