We are Provide Information about Digital Education Development Fund. Gujarat’s new education minister has released funds, 906 students will get financial assistance of Rs 7.83 crore

Education Minister Jitu Waghan formally took charge at Swarnim Sankul-1 today. Minister of State for Higher and Technical Education Kuberbhai Dindor, former Minister of Education Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, and other dignitaries were present on the occasion. The minister also held a review meeting with top officials of the education department. In which Minister Jitubhai Waghan has taken important decisions for the students and youth of the state. Under various schemes of the education department, Rs. 7.83 crore financial assistance has been sanctioned.

The assistance of Rs.4.51 crore to 383 students under the MYSY scheme


In which 383 students were given Rs. 4.51 crore financial assistance, financial assistance of Rs. 2.67 crore to a total of 94 students under CM Kanya Kelavani Nidhi and financial assistance of Rs. 64.35 lakh to a total of 429 students under the search scheme. In addition, under the Student Startup and Innovation Policy, a total of Rs. A grant of Rs 86.45 lakh has been allotted. As many as 18 teams of students who have won the state-wide Smart Gujarat for New India Hackathon competition have been given prizes of Rs. 3.50 lakh. Similarly, under the “Digital Education Development Fund (DEDF)” Out of the amount sanctioned this year, Rs.15 crore has been allocated for various purposes like e-library facilities, purchase of educational software.

Tuition, accommodation assistance to those who get more than 80 percentile


It may be mentioned here that under Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana (MYSY) to provide necessary financial assistance to the bright and needy students of the state for higher education, those who get 80% or more percentile in Std-10 and get admission in the diploma course, 80% or more Under this scheme tuition fee assistance, accommodation assistance and book assistance is given to the students who get admission in the class course as well as those who get 65% or more marks in the diploma course and get admission in the graduation course and the annual income of the guardian is up to Rs.

The assistance of Rs.2.20 lakh per annum to medical-dental students


Under this scheme, students of medical and dental courses are given Rs. 2.20 lakh during the entire period of the course. In addition to the assistance up to Rs. 9.64 lakhs, an additional Rs. 27.64 lakh assistance is available. Up to Rs. Assistance up to Rs 2.53 lakh is available. A total of Rs 287 crore will be provided to 65,000 students during the year 2021-22.

50 percent tuition fee assistance to medical students


Under Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana, 50 percent tuition fee of Rs. Receivable within the limit of 2 lakhs. Under Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana, students of medical courses are entitled to 50 percent tuition assistance and the remaining 50 percent tuition fee assistance, total tuition fee up to a limit of Rs. 6 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Girls Education Fund. Under this scheme, medical students are entitled to total assistance of Rs. 27.64 lakh. As a result, the number of female students in medical courses has increased by 18 percent. Under this scheme, a total of Rs.85 crore will be provided to 3000 students during the year 2021-22.

The search scheme has been launched by the state government in the year 2019 to provide monthly financial assistance to the bright and talented students enrolled in the course to reach the global horizons by conducting quality research. Under this scheme, Ph.D. Students doing quality research in the course are given financial assistance of Rs. 15,000 per month (stipend and other ancillary expenses at an annual rate of Rs. Therefore, a total of Rs. 34.90 crore financial assistance will be given to 1745 students at the rate of Rs. 2 lakh per annum.
