The country has once again implemented a lockdown to fight the Coronavirus. The government has released the guideline of Lockdown 5.0. Phased exemptions have been granted by the government outside the containment zone. Importantly, Lockdown 5.0 has been named Unlock 1.

Based on their response, the decision on when to open these institutions will be taken in July 2020. The Ministry of Family and Health Welfare will send an SOP for this.

The third phase of the unlock includes international air travel, swimming pools, amusement parks, theaters, bars, auditoriums, halls, and public place gatherings related to social, political, sports, educational, religious, cultural, and entertainment in the country. Depending on the situation, it will be decided when to open these activities in Phase 3.

There are 10 important things to follow in Unlock-1

According to the guideline of the Ministry of Human Resources, 10 important things have to be strictly followed in Unlock-1. Including wearing face masks, adhering to social distance, not holding large events, not spitting in public, drinking alcohol in public places, eating leaves and not smoking tobacco, working from home as far as possible, following the rules of shops and offices. , Screening and maintaining hygiene, using sanitizer.

The district system will determine the containment zone under the guidance of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. No one goes out in this zone except for life necessities and contact tracing and house surveillance will be done. In addition areas where new cases are likely to grow can be declared buffer zones. Controls in this zone will determine the mechanism of the district.
 
States, Union Territories may also reduce the permitted activities according to their status.
 
The movement of goods and persons within the interstate and interstate has been completely exempted. No special permission or pass is required for this. But if the state or union territories want to impose any control on this transport, they have to announce and arrange it in advance. Passenger trains, labor trains, domestic flights, repatriation of Indian nationals stranded abroad, repatriation to their home countries etc. will be started.
 
Pregnant women over the age of 65, those who already suffer from the disease, children under the age of 10 are advised to stay at home.

The State and Central Governments will strictly adhere to these guidelines. The district collector will be responsible for maintaining law and order.
Legal penalty

Those who do not comply with these guidelines will be penalized under Sections 51 to 60 of the Disaster Management Act and under IPC 188.
