The central government has made a big announcement for children orphaned by corona in the country. The tuition fees of such children will also be provided from PM Care Fund. Financial assistance will be given every month till the age of 18 years. In addition, 10 lakh assistance will be given when the child reaches the age of 23 years.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced that all children who have lost a parent or guardian due to Corona will get help under the PM Care for Children scheme. On the other hand, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has also announced a child service scheme for orphans who have lost their parents in the Koro epidemic.

You will get health insurance of Rs 5 lakh
These children will also get health insurance of Rs 5 lakh under Ayushyaman Bharat Yojana. Their premium will be paid from PM Care Fund. If you have taken a loan for higher studies, you will be given relief. The interest on this loan will also be paid from this fund.

An important meeting was held on Saturday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Modi on how to help the children orphaned by Korna. He said children lead the future of the country. We will do everything we can to help and protect them. It is our duty as a society to take care of the children.

More than 577 children across the country lost their parents in the second wave of Corona
Earlier, Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani, after studying reports from the states and union territories, said that since April 1, the country has been plagued by parents of 577 children. Due to which all these children have become orphans. They said the government is able to provide assistance and protection to all children who have lost their parents due to Corona.

Children’s mental health will also be taken care of
Union Minister Smriti Irani said in a tweet that between April 1, 2021 and 2 pm on Tuesday, the parents of a total of 577 children from the state government and the Union Territories had died due to corona. They further said that these children are now safe under the district administration. If such children have any need for mental health, we have formed a team at the National Institute of Mental Health.

Fixed deposit in child’s name

A fund will be set up for such children from the PM Care Fund. Rs 10 lakh will be deposited in it.
Through it the child will get a fixed amount every month till the age of 18 years.
At the age of 23 he will be given this whole amount at once.
School study

Children below the age of 10 years will be given admission in the form of Day Scholar in the nearest Kendriya Vidyalaya or Private School.
If the children are admitted in a private school, the fee will be paid from PM Care Fund as per the rules of Right to Education.
Expenses for school uniforms, books and notebooks will also be paid for.

Children will be helped to take loans for professional courses or higher education in India as per the current education loan norms.
As an alternative, such children will be given scholarships equivalent to graduation or professional course fees or tuition fees under the scheme of Central or State Government.
Children who are not eligible under the current scholarship scheme will get a similar scholarship from PM Cares.

Health insurance

All children will be considered as beneficiaries under Ayushyaman Bharat Yojana (PM-JAY). He will get a health insurance cover of Rs 5 lakh.
These children up to the age of 18 will be paid a premium amount from PM Care.
