બાંધકામ શ્રમિક તરીકેનું ઓળખકાર્ડ નોંધણી તારીખથી ત્રણ વર્ષે રીન્યુ થયેલ હોવું જોઇએ. બાંધકામ શ્રમિકે નિયત નમુનામાં અને નિયત સમય મર્યાદામાં અરજી કરવાની રહેશે. પ્રત્યેક શૈક્ષણિક વર્ષમાં પ્રવેશ મળ્યાથી ૩ માસની સમય મર્યાદામાં અરજી કરવાની રહેશે.અરજી સાથે જે તે શૈક્ષણિક સંસ્થામાં પ્રવેશ મેળવ્યા બાબતના પુરાવા જેવા કે સંસ્થાના આચાર્યનું પ્રમાણપત્ર કે પ્રવેશપત્ર રજૂ કરવાનું રહેશે. હોસ્ટેલ પ્રવેશ સંદર્ભમાં સંબંધિત હોસ્ટેલના રેકટર/વોર્ડન/સંસ્થાની અધિકૃત વ્યક્તિની સહીવાળું પ્રમાણપત્ર રજુ કરવાનું રહેશે.
આ સહાય માત્ર સરકારે માન્ય કરેલ હોય તેવી શૈક્ષણિક સંસ્થા/શાળા/કોલેજોમાં પ્રવેશ લીધેલ હોય તેવા બાંધકામ શ્રમિકના પુત્ર/પુત્રી તથા બાંધકામ શ્રમિકના પત્ની (વય મર્યાદા ૩૦ વર્ષ) સંબંધમાં જ મળવાપાત્ર થશે. બાંધકામ શ્રમિકના આશ્રિત તેવા માત્ર બે બાળકો તથા બાંધકામ શ્રમીકની પત્ની (વય મર્યાદા ૩૦ વર્ષ) પૂરતી જ સહાય મળવાપાત્ર થશે. સરકાર માન્ય સંસ્થા/કોલજો માં થી એક્ષટરનલ વિદ્યાર્થી તરીકે અભ્યાસ કરતા બાંધકામ તરીકેના બાળકોને પણ હાલની ધારા ધોરણ મુજબ શિક્ષણ સહાય મળવા પત્ર થશે. નેશનલ ઇન્સ્ટીટ્યુટ ઓફ ઓપન સ્કૂલિંગમાં અભ્યાસ કરતા બાંધકામ શ્રમિકોના બાળકોને પણ શિક્ષણ સહાય મળવા પત્ર છે.જે તે શૈક્ષણિક વર્ષ/સેમેસ્ટરમાં એકવાર અનુતીર્ણ થનાર વિદ્યાર્થીને તે જ ધોરણ/વર્ગ માટે બીજા વર્ષે/સેમેસ્ટર માટે પણ આ સહાય મળવાપાત્ર થશે. અલબત્ત આ સહાય માત્ર એક ટ્રાયલ પૂરતી જ મર્યાદિત રહેશે. તે જ ધોરણ/વર્ગમાં બીજીવાર નાપાસ થનારને તે જ ધોરણ/વર્ગ માટે ફરી સહાય મળવાપાત્ર થશે નહીં. કાર્યપદ્ધતિ શિક્ષણ સહાય માટે સત્ર શરૂ થયા તારીખથી/ એડમિશન લીધા તારીખથી ૯૦ દિવસ(૩ માસમાં) નિયત અરજી ફોર્મ અરજી કરવાની રહેશેનાણાંકીય સહાય મેળવવા માટે નોંધાયેલ બાંધકામ શ્રમિકે આ સાથે બીડેલ નમુનામાં અરજી જે તે જિલ્લાના સંબંધિત પ્રોજેક્ટ મેનેજર, ગુજરાત મકાન અને અન્ય બાંધકામ શ્રમયોગી કલ્યાણ બોર્ડ ને રજૂ કરવાની રહેશે. બાંધકામ શ્રમિકે કરેલ અરજીમાં તેના બાળકો, શૈક્ષણિક સંસ્થામાં ભણતા હોય તે શાળા/કોલેજ/સંસ્થા પાસેથી, અરજી પત્ર (ફોર્મ) ના નમુનામાં દર્શાવ્યા મુજબનું ”આચાર્યનું પ્રમાણપત્ર” આ અરજી સાથે બીડવાનું રહેશે.જો હોસ્ટેલમાં પ્રવેશ લીધેલ હોય તો હોસ્ટેલના સંબંધિત રેકટર/વોર્ડન/વડાનું પ્રમાણપત્ર પણ બીડવાનું રહેશે.
બાંધકામ શ્રમિકે તેની આ અરજી આચાર્યના પ્રમાણપત્ર સહીત જે તે ઉપરોકત અધિકારીની કચેરીમાં આપવાની રહેશે.પ્રોજેક્ટ મેનેજરે દર્શાવેલ વિગતોની ચકાસણી અને ખરાઇ કરીને અરજી મળ્યેથી દિન-૩૦ માં પોતાની ભલામણ સહીત રૂ. ૫૦૦૦/ – ઉપરની અરજીઓ વડી કચેરીમાં મોકલી આપવાની રહેશે.રૂ. ૫૦૦૦/ – થી નીચેની શિક્ષણ સહાય અરજી પ્રોજેક્ટ મેનેજરે તેઓના જીલ્લામાં સમિતિ બોલાવી તેનો નિકાલ કરવાનો રહેશે.ના-મંજૂર કરવા અંગેના કારણોની લેખિત નોંધ કરી તેની જાણ સંબંધિત શ્રમિકને કરવાની રહેશ.
મંજૂર થયેલ નાણાંકીય સહાય બાંધકામ શ્રમિકની બેંક અથવા પોસ્ટ ઓફિસના ખાતામાં જમા કરી શકાશે અથવા તો ઓળખકાર્ડના ફોટા ઉપરથી ખાત્રી કરી લાભાર્થીને રૂા. ૨૫૦/ – સુધી રોકડ/ચેકથી ચૂકવવાની રહેશે અને તે ચૂકવ્યા બદલ તેની પહોંચ મેળવી લેવાની રહેશે.
