How does Covishield work?
When a patient receives a dose of the vaccine, it prepares the immune system to initiate the production of antibodies and to attack any coronavirus infection.

How effective is Covishield?
The average effectiveness of Covishield is 70 percent. However, when it is given a full dose after one month it can be more than 90 percent.

Covishield vaccine can be stored at a temperature of 2-8 degrees Celsius.

The serum institute will provide the vaccine to states at Rs 400 and to private hospitals at Rs 600. The central government gets a dose of Rs 150.
2) Covaxin – Covaxin
Covin is an inactivated vaccine, meaning it is made from a dead coronavirus. Indian company Bharat Biotech and ICMR covexin have been developed. In this, the immune cells ask the immune system to make antibodies against the coronavirus. In this, the immune cells promote the immune system to make antibodies against the coronavirus.
