Increase in inflation allowance


According to the latest AICPI data, the inflation allowance for January to June 2021 could increase by at least 4 percent. However, the government is going to implement the inflation allowance on July 1 with special benefits after the additional ban. In addition, a three percent inflation allowance from January to June 2020 and a 4 percent from July to December is expected to be added to the central staff.

The inflation allowance is expected to increase from 17 per cent to 28 per cent. It may be mentioned here that three installments of January 1, 2020, July 1, 2020 and January 1, 2021 were stopped due to the Koro epidemic.
